I was surprised at how quiet this dishwasher is. The top rack for cutlery is a big improvement over my last dishwasher, and I like the being able to change the height of the the top rack (even changing the heights indepdentently to give more room to taller items on one side). There's a lot of flexibility within the racks themselves to slip spokes down for larger items, etc., so it has a good variety of options for a dishwasher of this size.

Replaced The old Bosch with a new Bosch, had the old one for 15 years, probably could've fixed it but decided just to get a new one! Bosch is always the best choice!

We bought four new Bosch appliances for our kitchen including this dishwasher. The finish is supposed to be fingerprint resistant but isn't and never has been. It is impossible to clean (mild soap and water). The 800 series fridge we bought is also fingerprint resistant and we've been so happy with the way it looks. The finishes on the two appliances do not even compare. The dishwasher is quiet and functions very well, but unfortunately looks terrible in our new kitchen.

I have a very small kitchen so had to go with an 18" dishwasher. I am so happy I went with the Bosch. There is much more room than I anticipated, including a third shelf for silverware and smaller items. The dishwasher is extremely quiet while running and does a great job. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought this specific machine for its quiet features and am not disappointed. My living space is open and not very large and I am able to watch TV or listen to music while it is running and barely notice it. The only noise I hear is a quiet hum, except when it is draining, and that can get a little noisy. The settings are easy to read and the online videos are very helpful to get familair with the machine. One thing I'm always unsure of when purchasing stainless steel appliance is how they will resist fingerprints. This one is great. I've had it about a month and only needed to wipe it down once. No kids helps.

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher in February, and it worked flawlessly for four months. Since June, it has been out of service, and despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue(s) through Bosch support, the issue remains unresolved. The initial product quality was excellent, but the lack of timely support has been extremely disappointing. We chose Bosch for its reputation and reliability, and we hope the company will stand behind its products and make this right. So far, Bosch Support has been no help though.

The Zeolith drying works as advertised and is excellent with plastics. Wash performance is very good, too. The racks are a bit wonky and it can be a puzzle to get everything in. We also have a full size Miele in our kitchen and I think those racks are infinitely superior and the Miele has a more substantial build quality. Overall, the Bosch is a good dishwasher and the odd racks might be due to the fact that it's an 18" model.

Our machine is just that, amazing. Good thing it has a red light on the floor to show it's running or we wouldn't know it. Very quiet. We are very happy we bought a Bosch series 800. It's nothing like any of our other dishwashers.

We love our new 18 inch Bosch dishwasher. It was so quiet compared to our 25 year old Kenmore which it replaced. We thought it might be broken, but after the first load was done we were very pleased to see how clean our dishes were.

I live in a small condo and my BOSCH 800 is a compact must have. I really enjoy that it is has modern features such as the ability to operate it via an app. Not to mention it's also quiet and it doesn't lock so you can put additional items in mid-cycle. It does a great job cleaning, and I appreciate the third top rack for utensils. It is truly worth every penny. I have zero complaints.

The DW is very quiet and cleans dishes very well! But, the interior feels cheaply made. I utensil basket feels really flimsy and same w/ top utensil rack. Tines on lower rack are too close together, which makes it difficult to load certain plates and dishes.

Save your money, Bosh dishwashers do not last any longer than less expensive brands. Mine faiked at 6 years- faster than any dishwasher I have ever owned. Despite spending slmost twice the price of comporavle models in hopes of having a quality product. Now- the price to repair my Bosch is not worth it- it is the cost of a new dishwasher!
To add to my frustration- bosh did not stand behind the product while it was under warranty. My dishwasher had issues shortly after arrival and I tried repeatedly to get the panel covered hnder warranty begore giving up as customer service never followed up. Shortly after the warranty expired, the unit began leaking all over my floor. Furst time Bosch customer.. and last. so disappointed

I just purchased the Bosch 800 series dishwasher. It is brand new and is not working properly. THe panel shuts off when the dishwasher is working, I contacted support and need to wait 2 weeks to get repair to come and check it out. Customer support was curt and not friendly. Disappointed by the experience so far. I purchased Bosch due to its reputation but I am afraid it is not what it used to be.

We recently purchased this 18" dishwasher and really love it. It is very quiet, you don't even know it is running. Love the 3rd tray for silverware and utensils. Everything gets squeaky clean. I couldn't ask for a better dishwasher.

Machine sounds like laundry washing machine agitation. Never told machine must be full. Not everyone loads fully each time. Even on half load it can be heard when we are watching TV.

I've always only ever inherited dishwashers in rentals and houses I've bought and have never been a fan. They all sort of do the job enough but was never really all that impressed. So our dishwasher that came with the house finally gave out and I decided to go with this Bosch 800 series and let me tell you, this thing is AMAZING! I can't even tell when it's on aside from the light that tells me or the app on my phone alerting me. It's a small 18" version which usually means they're not as good as a full size but not here. This thing is a beast! I used to have to basically wash all my dishes first before putting in the dishwasher so they would come out clean but now I just give everything a quick scrape to get the major chunks off and throw them all in dirty and they come out DRY and SPOTLESS! I would highly reccomend this dishwasher and have already to anyone in the market. It's FAR FAR FAR better than even the second place competition. Install was a snap. I will say my only criticism is they use their own proprietary plug instead of just having the raw wiring most dishwashers have but it was in no way an issue

This is my second Bosch 800 Series (we sold the house and moved - I was sad I couldnt take the Dishwasher with us). Upon move-in, we immediately replaced the dishwasher with a new 800 series. Do yourself a favor and get one now!

We didn't have room for a full size, and we weren't expecting much out of this 18 inch, but it's just brilliant! Apart from getting everything spotlessly clean and shiny, it holds a full day's worth of dishes and, true to the instructions' promise, requires absolutely no scraping or pre-rinsing. It even removed 20 years of coffee stains from our cups.

This is by far the best dishwasher we have ever owned. It does a superior job of cleaning and drying. It easily handles what had been tough to clean items in our old dishwashers. The zeolite system does an excellent job drying the dishes. This unit has very clever and simple to use hardware adjustment features on all three racks which allow you to maximize space and load odd-shaped items. Controls are convenient, intuitive and responsive. The phone app is easy to set up. It is well-designed, informative, and easy to use. We appreciate the reminders to top off rinse-dry, notifications about wash status, and statistics about energy and water usage. We have yet to find a down side to this unit.

We've only owned Bosch dishwashers for the past 30 years. When our last one finally failed after 23 years of service, we purchased an 800 Series unit to replace it. Now after 3 months of hard use, we can confidently say that it's professional quality, and very satisfying to use. Starting it manually is at first a little tricky, because 2 buttons must be pressed, and the indicator chimes that you've done so are whisper quiet. Nevertheless, once that's figured out, all other operations are intuitive. The dishwasher is very quiet, and both cleaning and drying are spotless. We love the 3rd, top rack for cutlery, and thus have removed the cutlery container from the bottom pull out drawer simply because its so rarely needed. This is a smart dishwasher, and the connection to our smartphones was transparently easy. This is a superp product, with well thought out designs for all 3 racks to optimize placement of items needing washing.

My dishes have never been so clean! I love the adjustable features, the ability to turn it on remote, and how quiet it is - I can't even tell if it is running! I did not rate 5 stars because the soap dispenser has not properly despensed a few times, and my machine is only 6 weeks old.

I have NEVER owned a dishwasher and thought that it wasn't possible in my current home. Eliminating one small cabinet and this dishwasher fit like a glove. It is so quiet, we cannot hear it in the next room if the TV is on and if it is silent in the house it is like a small hum. This dishwasher seriously holds so much and has already saved me so much time on doing the dishes. The third silverware rack is a game changer. I absolutely love my new dishwasher!

This machine doesn't operate correctly. Bosch's are known for how quiet they run but there's a knocking or light banging noise during part of the cycle, even present when being run completely empty. When Costco's third party team came to evaluate the machine they admitted they'd had trouble with 800s lately and we'd need to setup a return vs. an exchange because they were out of stock. We were able to do this at no additional cost, which is one of the reasons why Costco is so great, but it's frustrating to have problems with a Bosch which is often considered a top of the line dishwasher.

This upgrade was truly a game changer. This is whisper quiet (soothing, even), makes things sparkling clean, holds a lot more than my last 18 inch dishwasher, and even gives helpful maintenance reminders. We didn't think we'd ever be dishwasher "fans" but here we are!!!

Since only 2 are home, waiting to build a load in a regular size dishwasher causes issues with spoiled food on plates, pans, silverware and not to mention the odors that become quite strong. The 800 Series Dishwasher is quiet, energy efficient, saves on water and gives me clean sanitized dishes when done. Can't ask for more.

VERY quiet operation. Installation went smoothly, but did have a problem with toe panel installation. The holes in the dishwasher (next to leveling foot) did not line up when positioning the angled toe panel. The slots for mounting the outer toe panel did not line up using the holes in the dishwasher.

This is my second small bosh dishwasher. It's just me and I love the fact I can run a load every day and not feel guilty with this little guy. This little dishwasher holds enough dishes for a small dinner party but still manages to be just the right size for a household of one,what's not to like. It's quiet, gives you many options for loading different glassware,and big enough to hold full size plates, again what's not to like.

We are absolutely thrilled with our purchase. The dishwasher is quiet - any bit we can hear is very soothing - and after years of a substandard GE dishwasher we are so grateful to have sparkling clean dishes with our Bosch. It's tricky to find a good 18-inch dishwasher and this exceeded our expectations. The interior size is much better than other 18-inch dishwashers.
